Dreamt I saw the Northern Lights from my bedroom window

Last night I dreamt I was pregnant. It was too late to have an abortion. I wanted so badly to keep it, but I remembered how young my partner and I were, all the dreams we’d lay to rest. I remember feeling so torn, so heartbroken. I woke up relieved.

I was touring a house to move into, but someone already lived there. They brought there 100-year-old child who looked exactly like Dobby and was also actively rotting. At one point Dobby reaches for me and clings on to me in a hug and it’s so disgusting and the dad pulls him away eventually but he’s just scream crying “give me her! give me her!”

And then i had a dream i had to cut a snakes head off that woke me up because i mimicked the motion of chopping in my sleep and hit myself lol.

I dreamt of something called “golden pancakes” which was just pancakes made with apples and vodka.

Also had a lot of murderous dreams. It switched from being *** to ******* who i was committing murders with. So strange. Neither of them wanted to confess even though the court called us in for questioning.

I was on some sort of fast bike on a very slushy snowy highway. I saw a tractor trailer had crashed and was all turned about on my side of the highway. I went to turn my head to keep looking at it as I passed so I didn’t see that i was driving into an incredibly slushy part of the path until it was too late.

My bike slid and slid until i was on the other side of the highway. Cars were zooming past me. Nearly hitting me but somehow just missing me. After the shock, I eventually got up and was met by two people passing by. One of them said something along the lines of “at least you didn’t hurt your shrika,” pointing at his hand. Something about this interaction made me feel like I knew him from another dream while I was still dreaming.

Dreamt someone had the exact same bag as me, including the missing gold unicorn pin where the unicorn fell off but the pin portion remained. It was somehow understood that my bag wasn’t stolen, and that this was completely separate from me. A treasured item repeated without intention.

When I had fallen asleep, I was hoping I would dream of the characters in my book. But I actually ended up dreaming of my own troubles. I dropped. ******* was driving us over a water park. For some reason there was a bridge over the water park that we were taking. It was also somehow at my university within a section of lined stone pathways. The bridge didn’t exist in real life, but it felt like it belonged there. Of course, the waterpark did not, which was odd, but dream me accepted it.

 

We were arguing when we noticed his front left tires had driven over the left side of the bridge. It took a few seconds but somehow he drove on air and recorrected his path. Then the car slipped and slid and the whole truck kept spinning. He drove backwards, all the way to the ledge.

 

He decided to let the truck fall into the water beneath him and just walk down, grabbing his stuff from the wet truck and joyously announcing his weed wasn’t destroyed. I found that really unfair and ridiculous.

**** and I were hiking a mountain that supposedly had a really great view. We got to a spot where we had to climb. But it was really muddy and there was a river next to the muddy spot between trees. Past the river was a drop off, thousands of feet to the ground. My hands were trembling and I told her I wanted to stop. She said “really? okay” and I sat for a moment and thought that maybe I could just do it.

So I ripped off my shoes and left them on the trail behind me. Tucked everything safely in my backpack. And began climbing the muddy part between the trees. In the process, my water bottle fell out of its pocket and plummeted towards the earth. I kept going. After making it past the muddy part, we were immediately met with the top of the mountain. The top of the mountain had an incredible view of surrounding mountains, clouds, and a yellow hazy sunset. I felt alive and grateful and like I could stay there forever.

I was in a public bathroom and the woman in the stall next to me is talking to the woman in the stall next to her about her job as a writer. I think she even said something like “I’m so happy, but I took some time to get back here”. Then I heard a tiny voice talking to her. I look up and one of my students is somehow peaking over the stall door and down at the woman talking to her. I called his name and told him to get down and the woman laughed. I didn’t register the message of the dream while i was dreaming.

Been a while!!! Wow. Last night i dreamt that my partner came home with a puppy and a dog that he adopted for me as a surprise. I was so happy. I named them Rufus and Murphy.

But shortly after adopting them, like the same day, we had a family party that turned to the size of a fair. I had two new lovely pups and they kept getting lost in the fair because people kept leaving the door open. So i just sat inside holding the two of them. But then our house started falling apart. Holes in the floors, open windows, doors that couldn’t close all the way. It became so hard to keep an eye on them.

Its hard to recall most of the details despite it being such a long dream, but what I do recall is there were these creatures that were basically mermaids but they were drawn to ice rather than the sea. They weren’t pleasant mermaids though, they were more like sirens. Lurking in corners waiting for your guard to be down

I don’t often have recurring dreams but i have recurring spaces. I wonder if other people do. Ever so often I’ll dream of a version of my dad’s childhood home that had a closet with a spiral staircase that takes you through the basement to the other side of the house. And for some reason it terrifies me. I think the first time i dreamt of it, the house was haunted. The few times I’ve dreamt of it since, I’ve avoided it entirely

The past few nights I’ve smoked mugwort before bed and been so present in my dreams. I’m not achieving the lucidity that i’m aiming for, and the first two nights i had god awful vivid nightmares. last night before bed i smoked and put on adventure time hoping its whimsical nature would creep its way into my dream. It didn’t. But what I got was arguably better. 

Dreaming of the dead often feels like a chance to say hello again. I’ve dreamt of S*** at least 3 times that i’m aware of since he passed in late December. Each time, it’s understood in the dream realm that he’s passed. In last night’s dream, we were preparing for his funeral. But he was there with us. I don’t remember what was said but i remember just getting to talk to him and laugh with him and feel his company. It feels so real in a vivid dream. Real enough that it has to count for something.

There was a missing person and everyone was gathered in the center of town. Someone was suspiciously walking back and forth and side eyeing people. They paused near a hole in the ground and I thought they found something so I waited. But after a moment they dipped into the restroom. It was a single restroom. When they came out, they had the skin, clothes, face of a different resident in town. I dont remember much else from this part of the dream, but I remember realizing there were skinwalkers stealing our skin. At one point I felt a group of them picking at my own.

I was at my dead, estranged grandmother’s house (except it wasn’t actually her house, it was a random apartment, but I knew it then as her house). I don’t remember what the purpose of my being there was. I remember even in the dream she was dead. I remember that as I was leaving, I turned around to shut the door. I took one last look inside and saw her sitting on the couch, facing away from the door. She craned her neck to look at me. I jumped and waved like a small child. I don’t think she did anything back, but I caught a hint of a smile before waking up. When I dream of the dead, it truly feels like a visitation. I woke up feeling her presence calling out to me. It hurt.

Slept at my mom’s again and dreamt of a spirit again. This time was more sinister. I was with a friend who was touring a wedding venue that we later found out was built on the grounds of an old plantation. Alone in the venue, we walked up the stairs of the barn. Once we were almost at the top, I turned around and a man was halfway up the stairs. Something in his eyes made it clear that he was seeing me. The eye contact felt uncanny. I waited for a moment. Our hands barely touched and I started vibrating so intensely that I woke up again.

I had the strangest dream about apparitions last night. We’re staying at my mom’s new house,  which is her new husbands house where we lived with his late wife and i dreamt of her. My mom told me her spirit still resided here and took me to a bed. She uncovered a blanket and said "she's here, come over." So i crept over to the bed and there she was. She held out her hand to me and she somehow morphed into a grandmother type person to me. I reached for her hand and chills went up my arm. But it wasn’t cold… it was tingly.

**** and I moved into my childhood home in Upstate New York. It was a crazy dream. I remember walking through the house and reflecting on my childhood. It’d visually cut from how I remember it to how we were decorating it in our own style. It looked so familiar but so different. I often wonder if I’ll feel at home there forever. If the first home you latch onto defines the idea of what home means. In my heart that place lives healthily and comfortably. I miss it every day.

It was a movie set but also really very real? And sometimes the main character was an actress but other times she was me. So me and a friend go to visit my new boyfriend in Croatia. We get there are the vibes are really really weird. He lives in what looks like a jail cell. One major bed and a restroom with really intense bright lights that give off a green hue. No kitchen, no windows. I often find myself saying I miss ****. My dad comes to visit and he brings chili lol. I try to tell him i want to leave because something feels weird but he keeps telling me to wait because hes trying to tell a story. New bf walks out and i can’t tell my dad anymore. Well we do end up getting a flight back and my bf and his mom are coming with us. Suddenly Croatia turns into a different planet and were in a spaceship. Apparently I don’t have a return ticket. Me and my friend try to be lowkey about it but the attendant is trying to check me in and can’t find me. She said she can’t take me on this trip but she’ll find the next one. The next flight was in 5 Croatian years… or 12 Earth years. She looked at me and said she was so sorry. The next thing I remember I’m alone in Croatia with wild turkeys just thinking about how much time is passing on Earth. Its weird how the atmosphere changed. When we WENT to Croatia, it was a drive, it was very rocky and surrounded by very blue oceans. By the end, it was a different planet, very dry, run down, dry, dusty.

Most of my dreams last night pertained to my grandmother’s death and our family. It’s funny. The day prior was the wake and I was distraught. When I went to sleep, all I dreamt of was the 2010s comedy movie I was watching before bed. My mind played out different scenes from the movie. It’s like my subconscious knew it wasn’t time to process the loss. The yesterday was her funeral and I felt much less sad. My mind knew I was ready to process.

One unrelated dream I had was a bunch of people were gathered at the cul-de-sac by the house in Cairo. Unlike in real life, the highway was behind the trees on the cul-de-sac. Suddenly we saw two projected moon-beam-esc logos. It was like… Red Robbins and Burger King or something bizarre. They were 10x the size of the moon as it’s visible from Earth and they were glowing with a similar luminous yellow tone. They were moving to the right and began to warp. Suddenly a Red Robbins (?) and Burger King (?) truck took the corner and we realized it was just a projection of the company car logos

I vaguely remember dreaming of a beautiful view. It was a rainy night and very midnight blue sky. There was a bright full moon and something equally bright, more alluring, and less identifiable next to it. On the other side of the moon was a large oak tree. It still blows my mind how real dreaming can feel. These days i’m dreaming until the moment i wake up. And when i do wake up, i feel like i’ve been ripped from another place. From another story that was unfolding in a very similar life to the one that i live when i’m awake. Same people, same mannerisms, same motives, different laws of physics.

I just woke up from a dream about being at a mall and asking a mall employee to watch all of my holiday memorabilia from over the years while I go to the HBO Max store. And when I was there it all made so much sense.

For reference i just saw Cocaine Bear BUT basically a monstrous walrus/bear was terrorizing the city. Its face would peel backwards when it opened its mouth and its sharp, jagged teeth took over its head. We didn’t know about it until we saw it leave the house across the street. A bunch of cops pulled up to our neighbors house, so we watched out the window being nosy. The creature walked out and attacks all the cops.

It dashed across the street and into our house, sniffing everything in a really menacing way (lol). Somehow I escaped and ended up in Albany and ran into a reporter. I tried to tell them what was going on so they could do a breaking news segment and warn everyone but they were dismissed me because I had a job interview an hour ago that I missed (come onnnn).

My boyfriend and I had to go back to rescue our cats. Once we get there, the bear and his bear wife are coming across the street again. 

They sniffed my face and laid their head on mine. I tried to stay calm and accept that I may die but also give off a comforting, nurturing energy. 

Someone broke in to the house and said “oh…. You have to turn the bear it upside down to stop it” so I did, and the bear turned into a glowing chicken tender on a plate the end (what even???)

I bought a toothbrush from the 1400s from an occult themed farmers market. I was told it was preserved and soaked in vinegar and herbs for years and years. I was told it was supposed to ward off bad spirits. I felt unnerved as I walked away with it, so I went to my father’s house and gave it to him. In my dream, his house was an abandoned building. Suddenly there was a zombie invasion. The rest was a blur.

There with three people with me, and we were standing in a circle around the spider. Everyone kept hitting the spider in a different direction, sending it towards another person. i thought it was really weird and disgusting

Ugh I had a weird nights sleep. First I woke up from such an uncomfortable nightmare that I don’t even want to address. Upon waking up, I got this weird dream deja vu experience I’ve been having recently where I’ll remember an old dream from years ago. 

Well, the dream I remembered was being at Disney (and I wonder if I wrote about it in here, gonna check after i write this). I couldn’t remember much but I remembered SO CLEARLY certain scenes. Like waiting at a train stop, walking up to a big castle with a group of random people. (I’ve never been to Disney I have no idea if these things even exist there). I remembered exactly how the air and sun felt. It felt exactly the same as it did when i dreamt it months or years ago. So strange. Thats the kind of thing that makes dreaming such a wonder to me. ****yeah no so I don’t have an entry of it but its funny how easily i can recall it.

 

After that, I felt weird sleeping. Once I was able to, I had a dream that I don’t remember much of but I do remember having to escape this random liquor store one by one with a group of 5. When i got out, i was in what looked like the walking trail of Smith Rock in Oregon. I was running down the trail with the others when we saw two kittens also escape. They ran towards us across the desert at warp speed and we caught them in the palms of our hands.

I dreamt i was driving under the bridge in my hometown. You could tell there was a storm coming. The sky was a deep electric blue and the moon was full, a warm yellow, and 10x bigger than usual.

I’ve been practicing lucid dreaming and realized i was dreaming in a nightmare <10 mins ago. there were a bunch of evil spirits that were having a party in my front yard and they kept breaking into my house to steal stuff. I realized I was dreaming when I ran outside. Something in the air. I touched my palm and felt nothing. Tell me why my first reaction was to yell bc i knew none of them could hurt me? well a giant wolf with dragon wings landed in front of me after that and everyone looked at me. i got scared and woke up

I had a dream that i was at the grocery store w my boyfriend and he was said “Oooh you know what we should get??? round things” and i was like “how do u know about round things……” and he was like “????? Everyone loves round things” and pointed at the wall and there was a giant cardboard cut out of a labeled “round thing”. [round things are a childhood delicacy of my grandfather’s creation… pretty sure its just fried balls of breadcrumbs hahah]

i had the WEIRDEST DREAM. it started as people trying to escape this place of work. seemed like a government facility i dont even know. we were able to escape by boat, flying, all these ways, but in the dream it was just really weird. sometimes stuffed animals turned into real animals. we’d be in the sky directionless and have to come down to land to try to gage where we were. i know i was trying to get back to New York. eventually we turned into animals that were fighting this governing body to let us back home. so they guided us through these gates based on our home countries (very much like being at the U.S./Canada border). once we got through, we all just got put into boxes. like the way the dogs at the pet store in the mall just live in cages. suddenly i was in the audience and i was sitting with some friends. music starts playing and we go through each characters. a light shines thru each cage and each animal is emulating a different finalized mood. they’re all sad. my friends start talking about how they’re all sadder than they were after the previous movie. i realize i havent seen the previous movies… it was so weird

I had a weird series of dreams. i dreamt that i was forced to drive in New Jersey lol. i also dreamt that I was watching kids do some sort of drug deal (they were literally like 8 years old) and they had hundreds of dollars on them but when they were called back inside for recess they lost some of it in the wind and other kids saw it and started scooping it up and i was so excited for them. Also dreamt that it was my last day of high school and the rule was all girls get gifts.

i had a dream that i was at the bottom of a canyon. it was an enclosed space, like rock walls. and the walls were so tall, so when you looked up it kind of looked like you were in the bottom of a fish bowl if that makes sense. well i looked up to the sky for a while. it was so blue, the air felt so warm. suddenly half of the sky was taken up by a ginormous camels head. it was looking far off into the distance. for just a moment, the dream shifted from my view to that of the camel’s. the camel was staring off at different worlds. i shifted back to my perspective from the bottom of the fishbowl. with certainty in my voice, i said “that’s God,” but no one was around to hear me. i was the only one there

We all knew the world was going to end by the end of the night. Everyone was filling up airports, streets, space, and rushing around. I didn’t get to see the world end, but I saw the last few minutes and can remember who I stood next to. It was strange and oddly comforting.

I was walking around a store in a mall. The energy in the room felt thick and made me quickly tired but equally curious. The store sold orbs, cards, candle sticks, things of that nature. Green and purple lights illuminated from the corner of the store that was otherwise black. Someone approached me and asked if I was trying to get out of the dream. I was confused, but they continued to tell me that the way back to the real world was by buying the right orb and walking out of the store with it tightly gripped in my hand. They said you’d return as your real self and not your dream self. I wandered around the store for what felt like hours. I started chatting with the person behind the register when someone came next to me. I had that strange, temporary feeling of thinking “I don’t know you, but somehow I know you.” They looked oddly familiar.

I remember sitting in my room looking at them out of the glass wall and thinking to myself “this feels so real but I’m dreaming right now.” I got up out of my bed and paced around the room just to keep that consciousness the rest of the dream was really great. I went outside. We all got along and talked and had hot chocolate in a snowstorm

last night I had the most intense/vivid dream I’ve had in months maybe years. I dreamt that I was away at this sort of farm/cabin in the woods with a few friends. We decided to each drop some acid. We kept seeing the same demons and monsters (zombies, vampire babies, people with spinning heads and missing libs and terrifying smiles).

 

Eventually we tried to sleep but we’d turn over and be laying next to demons. We’d see them at the end of our bed, in the corners. they were everywhere and we ended up killing a lot of them rather than just hiding from them. we thought to call the cops but we were like... we’re probably hallucinating these! and then they’ll know we’re on acid! when we woke up the next morning (in my dream), sober, there were a bunch of dead monsters all over the floor and blood on everything. it was all real???? so we called our parents over the next day and they saw all of the dead zombie monster bodies but then i woke up. (note: its years later and I can see the image of a pile of zombie bodies so clearly).

crasiesr dreeam moose cave jump **** twrrifting

lol SOOOO now that i’m awake… my parents owned this underground cave that was also this weird obstacle course. there was this one part with a bridge between two parts of the cave. the bridge was really small. no sides to it, just made up of bamboo and string. under it was a drop to the center of the earth essentially- instant death, you’ll just be stuck down there, you’d never be found. we lived upstairs above the cave in a house. one day, we accidentally left a door open and Moose got out and into the cave. he made his way to the bridge part and tried walking on it but was scared because its so flimsy. people were at the bridge (including me) panicking. Moose jumped off the bridge and we were all screaming and **** was there too and he extended his arms like Jake from Adventure Time and caught my pup for me <3

also i had a dream that this underground world turned into a survivor esc reality and i found an odyssey (which was the ultimate immunity idol) in magazine clippings

i went to this big yard sale. I was walking around and saw **** but something was wrong with him. he was in a weird zombified trance. i tried to get him to leave but he refused to go and other zombified people tried to convince me to stay too. i was running in circles trying to get to **** and leave the house. it felt like a lifetime before i dragged him out of there. i got him to my car but this other zombified lady was still following us. i told her to come on a walk with me and stand on 2 rocks so we could get married??? when she stepped on the rock she became bloodied and melted into some goopy substance and i threw her into a DOG FOOD BAG and into my DRIVEWAY???? i sped off with **** to a sanctuary. it was a post-apocalyptic world because apparently this yard sale house ruined everyones trust and ability to function as a society. **** and i turned into vinny and pauly d from jersey shore and we were invited into the sanctuary by some annoying girl that was on the season of survivor that we’ve been watching

I went to a arts and crafts / farmers market in new paltz where everyone sold crystals and hand made diaries. i met this one women who sold moldevite and I was looking for some. In the dream, my friend E*** was dead. the woman somehow knew. We ended up talking and really clicked. she gave me a job working for her. it was perfect, i dont remember much but i know everything was perfect

also so weird at one point i was on the beach and saw her with the icarly cast? why??? dreams are the most bizarre manifestation of your thoughts

I was dating **** and one day a 10 foot tall man that was identical to him knocked on my door and demanded to date me. i was really scared and told og **** about it and he told me to pretend to date the giant just to find a way to get rid of him. but 10 foot tall **** hated the original **** and tried to kill him. i dont remember how but i ended up killing 10 foot tall ****. when i killed him he had turned into a 3 foot long rat. my mom and i cut up the rat into a million tiny pieces. guts were everywhere and we were shoving them in paper bags and burying them in the backyard. somehow 10 foot **** emerged from my basement as a poltergeist and told me he was going to tell everyone what i did to him. soon after, the mayor showed up at my house. they were grateful i killed a 10 foot tall person because they were considered a monster for some reason and offered my whole family enough money to escape town so the rest of town didnt harass us for being murderers.

i was told a girl that only spoke sign language joined our soccer team in my dream. she spoke, but in a language that only i could hear. she told me i was worthy of love and she could tell i was different. she said by one look she knew i was thoughtful and understanding and full of love. we sang and danced and had such a great connection. i woke up and told my boyfriend and he bear hugged me and told me all the things she said were true. i could cry it was so special. i hope she’s real somewhere

i was on a train that was starting to fall off track and break down. a door cracked open and there was a hill next to the tracks that my dog Moose was rolling down (silly puppy rolling down a hill for fun awww). he rolled into the door and into the train. it was just me, moose, and the conductor. the conductor turned around and yelled if there was anything back there with me to stop the train. i gave him a pizza box and it saved the day (idk how)

i was at this play house with a bunch of random people i’ve met throughout my life. we were all taking shots and traveling from room to room. there were two levels to the room we were sat in. a balcony about 10 feet tall and a floor underneath it with a stage directly in front of it. directly under my balcony seat was a hole in the floor that led to another play room with the exact same design. i was mesmerized by it and wanted to jump through it just leaning over the balcony staring at it

i was on a field trip in Russia. There was this really eerie feeling looming over me. we were sitting at this large dining room table in a lair and this guy in a big furry skeleton costume comes up to me and puts his hands on my shoulders and tells me a list of things that need to be done or ill die. its pretty foggy i dont remember much of the details but i remember how scary yet cartoonish he was and i remember at the end they were like “we’d NEVER hurt you!!!” but were watching over me all the time making sure i followed the rules

Once we got to the end of the bridge a wave the size of a skyscraper came up towards us and swooped us into the ocean before we could even react

me **** and my mom were driving past the tennis courts when I noticed the moon was huge. i floated out of the car and up into the clouds to get a picture. over the clouds i could see it all clearly. the moon illuminated a bright pink shade. underneath it was this little smurf-type village with mushrooms tops to little dwarf homes. i floated back down into the car but everyone was too distracted by a dog type centipede to pay attention

i had a dream **** and i were adventure time characters and we were battling for ice cream cones. i wanted to get ice cream with his roommate ****** but **** had the car and said to get the car i needed to beat him in a battle. i morphed into a big bird with like 20 little squirrel heads and 1 main squirrel head coming out the top. everything in the dream was pastel purples blues and yellows.

I was being followed through a Romanian castle by a demon. The demon had the eyes of Steven King’s “It” but looked like “The Scream” by Picasso. Its natural form was a purple orb, and everything in its vicinity would turn a deep purple. That made it easy to know when it was around. As it came close to me, I kicked it down an air vent. I thought I got rid of it, but its voice traveled through the house. It told me it would always be able to come back. And it did. I woke up this morning with its voice still in my head.

I asked my mom “do you prefer peanut butter or cream cheese?” she said cream cheese and with disgust I asked why. She replied “ how else would I eat my apples and grapes?” and then she started putting apple slices and grapes on a bagel with cream cheese

in another dream there were these two demons that followed me in a random group everywhere. You could never look at them and they were always watching you. If you looked at the skinny big eyed lanky ripped smile demon he would give you this horrifying look and send the obese potato sack looking boogie man-ish other demon to immediately kill you in anyway he saw fit. some of us were being followed and watched for karma. turns out one guy had suffocated his wife. The demons followed him for years. One day he accidentally looked at the demons and the bogeyman strangled him while a video in the back played in a loop. The video was of the man strangling his wife. He was crying while he died. we were in something kinda like a black hole in outer space/ like regular show.

It was summer 2017 and there was a carnival to celebrate graduation. **** and i were on a rollercoaster and suddenly smoke and fire filled the air and took over the trees. we ran to our cars. Mine was on fire so I caught a ride with ****. Everything was OK. The next day we had a redo of the carnival. There was a slideshow of missing/dead people from saugerties due to the fire playing constantly in the background. Almost like paying a tribute.

While we were watching that the trees lit up in flames again and we all rushed out. The entire town was forced to stay at home. My mom and I stayed at my dads house. Ryan Reynolds and Blake lively where our neighbors but they were extremely horrifyingly ugly lol. They tried to leave their house and as soon as they left their driveway they lost control of their car and crashed. Like a force made them crash not that they were driving poorly.

Being with both of my parents in my childhood home was driving me crazy so I snuck out and ran to *****'s house. It was so post-apocalyptic. And things were being torn to shreds, burning, thrown around by an unknown greater force
